For many Black men, especially those who have been incarcerated, entrepreneurship isn’t just a path to success—it’s often the only option. The stigma of a criminal record makes finding traditional employment nearly impossible. The barriers are high: over 60% of Black men with a criminal record struggle to secure employment due to discrimination, lack of access to resources, and a broken system that still punishes them long after they’ve paid their dues.
This is why The ReManned Project prioritizes entrepreneurship as a pathway to freedom. We understand that for many formerly incarcerated men, building their own businesses is the only way to escape the cycle of poverty, recidivism, and systemic oppression. Through our Entrepreneurial Mastery Programs, we give Black men the tools to build sustainable, profitable businesses from the ground up, providing mentorship, business training, and access to a supportive network.
Entrepreneurship allows Black men to take control of their financial futures, create generational wealth, and reclaim their economic power. By guiding men to succeed on their own terms, we’re dismantling the barriers that have kept them out of the wealth-building conversation for too long.
